Member Posts: 35 Group: Global Moderators Member #7 Joined: Jan 2, 2008	In this tutorial you will learn how to create a pixel stretch signature. Step 1. Create a new transparent document any size you want. I used 450x150 Step 2. Find a render and resize it to your liking by pressing CTRL+T hold shift and at the bottom right drag it back to how much you want it. Step 3. Duplicate your layer Step 4. Select your normal layer: Then make a selection like this: After doing so press CTRL+T and drag it sideways and youll end up with something like this: Step 5. Duplicate the stretched layer and turn the blending mode to Linear Light Step 6. Once again duplicate the layer but this time go to Filter>Distort>Wave and click randomize a few times. After doing so set the blending mode to overlay and lower the opacity to 39% Step 7. Duplicate the WAVE layer and go to Edit>Transform>Flip Vertical Now you should have something sort of like this: Step 8. Make a new layer move it here: Step 9. With the color white, start brushing with your favorite brushes and you should have something like this: Step 10. Make a new layer Step 11. Now get out the Magic Wand Tool and set to it "Add Selection" Step 12. Select the NORMAL stretched layer and start making random selections w/ the Magic Wand Tool like so: Step 13. Make a new document size 3x3 Step 14. Now zoom in 16000% and get out your pencil tool 1px and make a small black dot in the center. Step 15. Go to Edit>Define Pattern and name it anything you like. Step 16. Go back to your sig select that new layer you made a while ago and go to Edit>Fill and in the "Use" dropdown find "Pattern" then find the pattern you made a while ago and press OK. Now you should have something like this: Now whats missing is a border. Step 17. Make a new layer and drag it to the top of the layer tray and select the whole document. Step 18. go to Edit>Stroke and use these settings: Step 19. CTRL+Click the stroke layer and press CTRL+SHIFT+I then go to Select>Modify>Contract and contract by 4 pixels and go to Edit>Stroke and press OK. Now you should have something like this: Step 20.
